Steubenville | On The Lake is held at the picturesque campus of Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Carthage is located on the northeast corner of Kenosha, along the Lake Michigan shoreline and is an hour drive from both the Chicago O’Hare and Milwaukee General Mitchell airports. Participants will enjoy programming in the Tarble Arena with room for over 3,000 participants as well as break out and small group space on campus along the shores of the lake.

The Steubenville Youth Conferences, an outreach of Franciscan University of Steubenville, are a series of 25 conferences across North America that help teens encounter the love of Christ every summer. If you have housing with us at SOTL, you will either be placed in the dorms at Carthage College, or in the dorms at UWParkside. If you are in Parkside dorms, we will provide a shuttle for you to get back and forth from your sleeping arrangements at Parkside, to our programming at Carthage. If you did not pay for dorm housing, you will be able to choose from a list of hotels with room blocks provided for our group. (Please be sure to mention Partnership for Youth/Steubenville On The Lake when you call to make your individual reservation).
Friday night dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Sunday breakfast, and IF your group signed up and paid for Sunday lunch, we will provide you with a boxed lunch at the end of Sunday programming. All meals are served in Carthage FieldHouse, next to the Marketplace, except for breakfasts for those staying at Parkside (breakfasts will be served in UWParkside Banquet Hall).
Yes, you can buy pizza to be delivered after programming on Friday and Saturday nights. We will provide you with local pizza menus and phone numbers at check in.
Please be sure to indicate allergies on individual registrations and whenever indicated on forms. We cannot guarantee that any of the food served will be free of traces of nuts, gluten, dairy, or any other allergen. However, we strive to provide gluten-free, vegetarian, and dairy free options IF we are notified in advance. If your teen has an allergy, you will receive a wrist-band at check in for your teen to go through a special food line.
YES! We will have an optional Traveler’s Mass Friday at 4pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, Mass will be included in our programming. See schedule for more details.
In 2016, our conference fell on the hottest weekend of the year! Please keep in mind our modesty policy while packing for SOTL. You may want to bring a fan for your room as not all of our dorm rooms are air conditioned. See packing list for more of what to bring.
